Impatience

I was out walking my dog earlier this morning when a strange event occurred. For those of you who don't know, I live right next to Courtside, a type of sports club. I was walking by the entrance that opens up onto Winchester Boulevard, when a women driving a car sped out onto Winchester at about 25 miles an hour. As I looked back, I realized that if she had waited, I would've passed her. She couldn't stand to be there a moment longer, and risked her life because of it. Winchester was full of cars, and she barely avoided being pancaked. It made me wonder, if life is so rushed, if it moves so fast, why are we speeding it up? You should enjoy every moment, not just hasten to the next thing. Life is short, so why spend it speeding around? You have obligations, I get it. But they can wait another 3 seconds. So the next time you rush, think about why you're doing it. Maybe you can wait those 3 seconds, and not be living in the fast lane.

Dogs

I wanted to share my memories of dogs today. Now, many of you know that I am big on dogs, and that I currently own one. I have lived with dogs my entire life. I write about them, take pictures over them, and play with them. I've written speeches about them, and experienced things that many people haven't. I've had dark moments and joyfull moments, from a new dog to a heart attack. I've had two dogs I grew up with for 11 years taken from me within half of a year. I know the highs and lows, the sickness and the toys. Can I have a life without dogs? Do I want one? No, I don't want a life without dogs. But sooner or later, dogs leave. Of that, I am sure of.

March 20: Money, Money, Money

I was just reading an article about Peyton Manning signing with the Broncos. Now, this probably doesn't mean anything to you, but I won't stay on the subject. The true subject is money. What does money mean? Some may say it is everything. You can be judged by money. Riches and fame are products of money. Money has a huge role in society.

Money doesn't have to be everything, but we choose it to be that way. It gets you food, can help you tell time. It decides how and where you live.

I believe money is a product of what you believe. It can be a god, or a burden. It depends on your position in life. So what do you think about money? Greatest thing ever invented, or a veil upon people's hearts and minds?

Welcome to the new blog

For all of you reading this, welcome! This my new blog. My first post will be out shortly, so be ready for that. Hope you enjoy!
