NBA 2k19: The New Millennium(The Smart Pick)

Last time on The New Millennium, Dwyane Wade finally won his first ring, doing it with his hometown team, as the Bulls won their first title since 1998 and the Michael Jordan Era. Now, the offseason is upon us and changes are coming.

Player Retirements

Biding farewell to the NBA this year were the likes of Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Tim Duncan, Antawn Jamison, Rashard Lewis, Mike Bibby, Richard Hamilton, Michael Redd, Jason Terry, Lamar Odom, Shane Battier and Darryl Berry. Garnett, Duncan and Nash would all be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Draft Lottery

The big winners this year were the Cleveland Cavaliers, who definitely needed some help. With the fourth best odds, they won the lottery, and also hold the fourth pick courtesy of the Seattle SuperSonics. The Nuggets got the second pick, Milwuakee will pick third and the Raptors round out the top five.

2015 Draft Preview

The 2015 class includes the likes of Kristaps Porzingis, Karl-Anthony Towns, D'Angelo Russell, Devin Booker and Myles Turner. At least to me, Porzingis looks like the clear number one choice, but this year's draft showed that anything can happen when GMs get nervous.
