The Dog League: Week 3 Preview(2020 Season)

The Dog League has a new team in charge, and a whole ton of injuries to deal with heading into Week 3. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tug of War

Current Record: (0-2, 6th place)

Tug of War suffered a tough loss in Week 2, mostly because of the injury to Saquon Barkley, who is now out for the year. He's been dropped for Kareem Hunt, while Jared Cook was dropped for Leonard Fournette, though neither of those guys will start this week. DeVante Parker will be getting a starting spot this week, replacing Joe Mixon who struggled against Cleveland, and Miles Sanders gets his starting job back since Barkley is gone. A somewhat controversial decision sees Tug of War replace Allen Robinson with Stefon Diggs. Even though Diggs has been far better this year, he does have a tough matchup against the Rams and A-Rob has a terrific one against the Falcons, but the team wants to play the better player and right now, that's Diggs. Finally, they replaced the Saints defense with the Colts, as they are the top streaming option this week hosting the Jets.

UPDATE: With the news that Diggs could be shadowed by Jalen Ramsey today, Tug of War have reversed their decision, bringing back Robinson to start.

Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Aaron Rodgers

RB Miles Sanders

RB Johnathan Taylor

WR Chris Godwin

WR Allen Robinson

TE Mark Andrews

WR DeVante Parker

K Harrison Butker

DEF Indianapolis Colts

Bark Force

Current Record: (0-2, 5th place)

Bark Force didn't stand much of a chance against Rare Woofs, who scored 192 points in a decisive win. Bark Force responds by shoring up their bench, adding Cam Newton, Devonta Freeman and Jared Cook, dropping Tom Brady, Ronald Jones and Dallas Goedert. Cook is the only one of the three that could start this week, as George Kittle's status for this week's game remains uncertain. Devante Adams' status is also uncertain, which could lead to Melvin Gordon getting a start. James Conner and DK Metcalf are into the starting lineup this week, while Matt Prater was dropped for Mason Crosby.

UPDATE: With Adams doubtful and Kittle ruled out, they have been replaced by Gordon and Cook respectively.

Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Kyler Murray

RB James Conner

RB Chris Carson

WR DeAndre Hopkins

WR DK Metcalf

TE Jared Cook

RB Melvin Gordon

K Mason Crosby

DEF San Francisco 49ers

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (1-1, 4th place)

Tailwaggerz took a close loss to Rascal last week, mostly thanks to a poor game from Adam Thielen. This week, they brought in James Robinson for Nyheim Hines, while Robinson's teammate D.J. Chark gets a starting spot. Chark is banged up, so if he can't go, Robinson can take his place. Rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire heads to the bench, as Tailwaggerz don't trust him going against the Ravens run defense, which has proven tough thus far in the year.

UPDATE: With Chark ruled out, Robinson fills in as anticipated.

UPDATE(x2): Tailwaggerz will start Terry McLaurin over Adam Thielen this week, as he has a great matchup against Cleveland.

Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Russell Wilson

RB Dalvin Cook

RB Nick Chubb

WR Amari Cooper

WR Terry McLaurin

TE Travis Kelce

RB James Robinson

K Robbie Gould

DEF Baltimore Ravens

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (1-1, 3rd place)

After that 192 point performance, Rare Woofs feel like the team that won 14 games last year again, and now set aim on a top two place in the league. They made one skill player waiver move, dropping A.J. Brown to pick up Julian Edelman, who has found his way onto the team for the third year in a row, this time taking a bench spot. They do have some concerns about the health of star tight end Darren Waller, but if he misses this week's game, Tyler Higbee would be a great replacement. Finally, they brought in the Buccaneers defense in exchange for the Bills' unit, as Tampa Bay has a juicy matchup against the Broncos and Jeff Driskel.

Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Patrick Mahomes

RB Alvin Kamara

RB Kenyan Drake

WR Tyreek Hill

WR Robert Woods

TE Travis Kelce

RB Aaron Jones

K Wil Lutz

DEF Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (2-0, 2nd place)

Leaping Girl fell out of the top spot despite winning her game against Tug of War, as Rascal has more points than her. She makes one waiver move, dropping Devin Singletary to pick up Jerick McKinnon, who could start with Josh Jacobs banged up, though David Montgomery could also be considered for that spot. Emma decided to take JuJu Smith-Schuster out of her lineup this week, as Tyler Lockett has been slightly better this year and has a good opportunity for points against Dallas.

Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Lamar Jackson

RB Ezekiel Elliott

RB Derrick Henry

WR Mike Evans

WR Tyler Lockett

TE Hunter Henry

RB Josh Jacobs

K Greg Zuerlein

DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (2-0, 1st place)

Rascal may be in first, but his team has caught the injury bug, with Christian McCaffrey and Raheem Mostert out for at least this week. He's gone for a bold strategy, dropping the Chiefs defense to add Joshua Kelley, who starts next to backfield mate Austin Ekeler. The idea here is to do what has worked with Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones, as Rascal has started both on the assumption that at least one of them has to have a good game. Kelley has a magnificent 8 red zone touches this year, so this gamble by Rascal has the potential to pay off big, though who knows if it will work. He also dropped Malcolm Brown to pick up Devin Singletary after Emma dropped him, though Singletary will only be providing depth on the bench, at least for this week. Finally, he dropped Kenny Golladay to pick up Robby Anderson, who could also provide the potential for a starting duo with D.J. Moore, if Rascal wants to go that way in the future.

UPDATE: With Jones ruled out, Rascal is indeed going for his Moore-Anderson strategy.

Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Dak Prescott

RB Austin Ekeler

RB Joshua Kelley

WR Calvin Ridley

WR D.J. Moore

TE Zach Ertz

WR Robby Anderson

K Justin Tucker

DEF New England Patriots

As always, this post will be updated with any changes that are necessary to be made. I have no clue if any of what has happened in Louisville will have any effect on NFL games this week, though I would be understanding of any player that feels like taking a week off, as this situation is far bigger than football. I wish the people that inhabited this world could find a way to treat each other properly, but apparently only dogs are capable of that.

The Dog League: Week 2 Preview(2020 Season)

Week 1 was a major success for the Dog League as a whole, with all six teams scoring well, but it was Leaping Girl who shined the brightest, finding themselves atop the league heading into Week 2. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tug of War

Current Record: (0-1, 6th place)

It was not an ideal start to the year for the former two time champions, who suffered a blowout loss to Tailwaggerz, who were led by Russell Wilson and Adam Thielen. Going into Week 2, Miles Sanders is back, as he sends Cooper Kupp to the bench. They could've also considered starting rookie Jonathan Taylor, but decided that Sanders was the safer option. Even though Kupp is on the bench, he could still find his way back into the starting lineup, as Chris Godwin is working his way through concussion protocol and could be inactive this week. Tug of War also makes a change at quarterback, as starter Deshaun Watson faces a tough Ravens defense, so they brought in Aaron Rodgers to start, dropping Carson Wentz. Their final change was dropping Cam Akers to pickup Jared Cook, who will just be stashed on the bench for now, as they didn't want another team in the league to get him.

UPDATE: With Godwin doubtful, Kupp will start again this week. Additionally, Tug of War have decided to go with Taylor instead of Sanders.

Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Aaron Rodgers

RB Saquon Barkley

RB Joe Mixon

WR Allen Robinson

WR Cooper Kupp

TE Mark Andrews

RB Jonathan Taylor

K Harrison Butker

DEF New Orleans Saints

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (0-1, 5th place)

Though the defending champions did start the year with a loss, they make no changes to their starting lineup, as no one on the bench or available on the waiver wire seemed like a major upgrade. They did bring in a backup quarterback, dropping Tarik Cohen to acquire Drew Brees.

Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Patrick Mahomes

RB Alvin Kamara

RB Kenyan Drake

WR Tyreek Hill

WR Robert Woods

TE Darren Waller

RB Aaron Jones

K Wil Lutz

DEF Buffalo Bills

Bark Force

Current Record: (0-1, 4th place)

Bark Force is dealing with an injury crisis already, as Michael Thomas is expected to miss some time, James Conner is very iffy and George Kittle is banged up. Thomas is replaces in the lineup by A.J. Green, who was added for Courtland Sutton, while Ronald Jones fills in for Conner. Kittle remains the starter, as Austin Hooper would be a risky start coming off a poor Week 1 and playing early in the week on Thursday night. If Kittle does miss this week's game, Hooper would likely be dropped for Dallas Goedert, who was excellent to start the year.

UPDATE: As expected, the Goedert move has been made with Kittle ruled out.

Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Kyler Murray

RB Chris Carson

RB Ronald Jones

WR Davante Adams

WR DeAndre Hopkins

TE Dallas Goedert

WR A.J. Green

K Matt Prater

DEF San Francisco 49ers

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (1-0, 3rd place)

Rascal is making a nifty play at defense this week, adding the Kansas City defense while dropping James White, and starting them over the Patriots'. New England's unit will stay on as the backup, but the Chiefs have a juicy matchup against the Chargers that Rascal wanted to take advantage of. Rascal also dropped Le'Veon Bell to add Malcolm Brown, and T.Y. Hilton for Will Fuller, as both Brown and Fuller could potentially start if Julio Jones can't go this week, though Raheem Mostert would also be a possibility.

Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Dak Prescott

RB Christian McCaffrey

RB Austin Ekeler

WR Julio Jones

WR Calvin Ridley

TE Zach Ertz

WR D.J. Moore

K Justin Tucker

DEF Kansas City Chiefs

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (1-0, 2nd place)

Tailwaggerz brings back in Amari Cooper to start, as D.J. Chark couldn't take advantage of his starting opportunity last week. They snagged Nyheim Hines off the waiver wire, dropping Jordan Howard, and considered starting Hines or Terry McLaurin over Nick Chubb this week. Ultimately, it was decided that it was too soon to give up on Chubb, as they will hope for a bounceback game this week.

Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Russell Wilson

RB Dalvin Cook

RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire

WR Adam Thielen

WR Amari Cooper

TE Travis Kelce

RB Nick Chubb

K Robbie Gould

DEF Baltimore Ravens

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (1-0, 1st place)

The year may have started well for Leaping Girl, but trouble is already brewing for Week 2. Tyler Lockett has a tough matchup against the Patriots, so he was pulled from the lineup in favor of Mike Evans, though Evans is still dealing with a hamstring injury and may not be at one hundred percent. To make matters worse, JuJu Smith-Schuster has a knee injury, so both Lockett and Keenan Allen on the bench could be called upon to start this week. Emma did make one change of her own volition, bringing in Hunter Henry to start over Evan Engram, who couldn't get anything going against the Steelers.

Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Lamar Jackson

RB Ezekiel Elliott

RB Derrick Henry

WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

WR Mike Evans

TE Hunter Henry

RB Josh Jacobs

K Greg Zuerlein

DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

That's it for the Week 2 Preview, I'll see you here again next week, and of course there will be updates to this post if any player needs to be pulled later in the week.

The Dog League: Week 1 Preview(2020 Season)

The 2020 season of the Dog League neared cancellation at one point, but against all odds, these six teams will attempt to play out a normal schedule this year. Let's take a look at how they look heading into their third season together. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Bark Force

Just for clarification, Dog League teams have not been permitted to make any waiver moves, unless they're replacing an injured player, in which case they can procure his backup, if that player is available. Bark Force has no injuries, so they just make one change to the starters, bringing in James Conner to start over Melvin Gordon.

Week 1 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Kyler Murray

RB James Conner

RB Chris Carson

WR Davante Adams

WR Michael Thomas

TE George Kittle

WR DeAndre Hopkins

K Matt Prater

DEF San Francisco 49ers

Tailwaggerz

Tailwaggerz will start Amari Cooper over Odell Beckham Jr. for this week, though some consideration was given to going with D.J. Chark or Terry McLaurin instead. Ultimately, Cooper was deemed as the safer choice to start the year.

UPDATE: Tailwaggerz has chosen to go with Chark over Cooper this week.

Week 1 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Russell Wilson

RB Dalvin Cook

RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire

WR Adam Thielen

WR D.J. Chark

TE Travis Kelce

RB Nick Chubb

K Robbie Gould

DEF Baltimore Ravens

Leaping Girl

Last year's 2nd place finisher starts out this year by bringing in Tyler Lockett off her bench, who gets the start over JuJu Smith-Schuster. She could've also started Keenan Allen, but he performed very poorly for her last year, so she didn't want to get burned again.

UPDATE: With Mike Evans likely on a limited snap count this week, Emma has brought JuJu back into her lineup.

Week 1 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Lamar Jackson

RB Ezekiel Elliott

RB Derrick Henry

WR Tyler Lockett

WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

TE Evan Engram

RB Josh Jacobs

K Greg Zuerlein

DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

Rare Woofs

The defending champions may not have built the strongest roster in the draft, but it would be unwise to count them out after defying expectations time and time again last year. They will start Robert Woods over A.J. Brown this week, as Woods was fantastic to end last season.

Week 1 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Patrick Mahomes

RB Kenyan Drake

RB Alvin Kamara

WR Robert Woods

WR Tyreek Hill

TE Darren Waller

RB Aaron Jones

K Wil Lutz

DEF Buffalo Bills

Tug of War

The 2016 and 2017 Dog League champions make no changes this week, though they will keep an eye on the health of Miles Sanders. They want Sanders to start if he's cleared to play, as the Washington run defense is very beatable, but if he can't, Cooper Kupp and DeVante Parker would be the obvious replacements.

UPDATE: With Miles Sanders ruled out, Kupp will indeed start this week.

Week 1 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Deshaun Watson

RB Joe Mixon

RB Saquon Barkley

WR Allen Robinson

WR Chris Godwin

TE Mark Andrews

WR Cooper Kupp

K Harrison Butker

DEF New Orleans Saints

Ridiculous Rascals

Rascal will also make no changes to start this year, he had the first pick and is confident that he assembled the right roster to open the season with a win.

UPDATE: With Kenny Golladay likely to miss Week 1, Calvin Ridley will start in the flex spot.

Week 1 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Dak Prescott

RB Christian McCaffrey

RB Austin Ekeler

WR Julio Jones

WR D.J. Moore

TE Zach Ertz

WR Calvin Ridley

K Justin Tucker

DEF New England Patriots

I'll see you back here next Tuesday for the recap of the Week 1 games, though be aware that this post will be updated if any injury replacements are needed.

The Dog League: 2020 Draft Recap

For those of you who have made the trek to join me here today on my second blog, welcome! This is a much friendlier place than with that mean old Henry on the other blog, who swears like a sailor and makes fun of Jim Duggan. I'm here today to recap the 2020 Dog League Draft, which may end up being a complete waste of time if a football season can't be played, but you can't fault a guy for trying. Settle in, this is going to be a long one. We'll start with the winners of the fifth place game that earned them the first overall pick, Ridiculous Rascals. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Ridiculous Rascals

1st Round, 1st Overall- RB Christian McCaffrey

2nd Round, 12th Overall- RB Austin Ekeler

3rd Round, 13th Overall- WR Julio Jones

4th Round, 24th Overall- WR D.J. Moore

5th Round, 25th Overall- WR Kenny Golladay

6th Round, 36th Overall- QB Dak Prescott

7th Round, 37th Overall- TE Zach Ertz

8th Round, 48th Overall- K Justin Tucker

9th Round, 49th Overall- DEF New England Patriots

10th Round, 60th Overall- RB Le'Veon Bell

11th Round, 61st Overall- WR Calvin Ridley

12th Round, 72nd Overall- WR T.Y. Hilton

13th Round, 73rd Overall- RB Raheem Mostert

14th Round, 84th Overall- RB James White

15th Round, 85th Overall- QB Josh Allen

Summary:

I'm pretty impressed with the roster Rascal has assembled, and NFL.com agrees, projecting him to be the best team heading into Week 1. McCaffrey and Ekeler are both perfect for PPR scoring, and pretty much his entire starting lineup and bench are guys with proven track records. I do question the wisdom of taking both Jones and Ridley, the strategy of having two receivers from the same team tends not to work, and his backup running back selections might be a little questionable. Still, this is a really good base for Rascal is his quest to finally win the Dog League title after 4 years of coming up short.

Tug of War

1st Round, 2nd Overall- RB Saquon Barkley

2nd Round, 11th Overall- RB Joe Mixon

3rd Round, 14th Overall- RB Miles Sanders

4th Round, 23rd Overall- WR Chris Godwin

5th Round, 26th Overall- WR Allen Robinson

6th Round, 35th Overall- TE Mark Andrews

7th Round, 38th Overall- QB Deshaun Watson

8th Round, 47th Overall- K Harrison Butker

9th Round, 50th Overall- DEF New Orleans Saints

10th Round, 59th Overall- WR Cooper Kupp

11th Round, 62nd Overall- RB Jonathan Taylor

12th Round, 71st Overall- RB Cam Akers

13th Round, 74th Overall- WR DeVante Parker

14th Round, 83rd Overall- WR Stefon Diggs

15th Round, 86th Overall- QB Carson Wentz

Summary:

Tug of War's roster may not be filled with the biggest of names, but is likely has the most depth of any in the league heading into the season. They went heavy on running backs and made sure they were all super young, an interesting idea, as while these younger players might have some difficulties adapting to the NFL at the start of the year, if Tug of War can stay patient, they will likely have grown exponentially by the end. The receiving corps have five guys who could all probably start if necessary, though it's yet to be seen if any of them have the right quarterback throwing to them. I do question taking Watson and Wentz, two guys with plenty of injuries in their past, especially considering the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees went undrafted. Tug of War haven't quite been at their best the past couple years after winning the first two titles, but this roster is super deep and filled with breakout potential, so they could make some noise.

Rare Woofs

1st Round, 3rd Overall- RB Alvin Kamara

2nd Round, 10th Overall- RB Kenyan Drake

3rd Round, 15th Overall- WR Tyreek Hill

4th Round, 22nd Overall- RB Aaron Jones

5th Round, 27th Overall- QB Patrick Mahomes

6th Round, 34th Overall- WR A.J. Brown

7th Round, 39th Overall- TE Darren Waller

8th Round, 46th Overall- DEF Buffalo Bills

9th Round, 51st Overall- K Wil Lutz

10th Round, 58th Overall- RB David Johnson

11th Round, 63rd Overall- WR Robert Woods

12th Round, 70th Overall- RB Mark Ingram

13th Round, 75th Overall- WR Marquise Brown

14th Round, 82nd Overall- TE Tyler Higbee

15th Round, 87th Overall- RB Tarik Cohen

Summary:

I'm going to be honest, I don't love the roster our defending champions have put together. Kamara is currently in the midst of challenging contract negotiations with New Orleans, Drake has yet to put together a consistently productive season and both Marquise and A.J. Brown were good at points in their rookie campaigns, but hardly seem like top tier receivers yet. That being said, there are positives here for Rare Woofs. If you're going to experiment with a draft, getting Mahomes makes sense, he's so consistent and so good that he gives you plenty of leeway with every other position. Waller and Higbee is a really promising tight end duo, a rarity in fantasy football these days, Lutz is another highly consistent top level guy and both Browns absolutely have the potential to be big stars. So it's not all doom and gloom, but Rare Woofs will likely start the season as underdogs to defend their title, an unfamiliar position to them after dominating for most of last year.

Leaping Girl

1st Round, 4th Overall- RB Ezekiel Elliott

2nd Round, 9th Overall- RB Derrick Henry

3rd Round, 16th Overall- RB Josh Jacobs

4th Round, 21st Overall- QB Lamar Jackson

5th Round, 28th Overall- WR Mike Evans

6th Round, 33rd Overall- WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

7th Round, 40th Overall- TE Evan Engram

8th Round, 45th Overall- DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

9th Round, 52nd Overall- K Greg Zuerlein

10th Round, 57th Overall- RB Todd Gurley

11th Round, 64th Overall- WR Tyler Lockett

12th Round, 69th Overall- WR Keenan Allen

13th Round, 76th Overall- RB Devin Singletary

14th Round, 81st Overall- RB David Montgomery

15th Round, 88th Overall- TE Hunter Henry

Summary:

Emma is on the quest back to the championship game after coming up short against Rare Woofs last year, and took as many proven commodities as she could find. That results in a rock-solid starting lineup and pretty talented bench, a team with very few holes to fill, at least on paper. I do have some slight concerns about her tight end selections, as both Engram and Henry have had plenty of injuries in their short careers and have unproven quarterbacks throwing to them. Certainly though, if those issues are minute in nature, those two could form a terrifying duo. I also will add that there's just a feeling of a very low ceiling for this roster, as most of these players already feel like they've reached their peak and have little room to grow. Will that matter at all for Leaping Girl this season? Probably not, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Tailwaggerz

1st Round, 5th Overall- RB Dalvin Cook

2nd Round, 8th Overall- RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire

3rd Round, 17th Overall- RB Nick Chubb

4th Round, 20th Overall- TE Travis Kelce

5th Round, 29th Overall- WR Odell Beckham Jr.

6th Round, 32nd Overall- WR Adam Thielen

7th Round, 41st Overall- QB Russell Wilson

8th Round, 44th Overall- DEF Baltimore Ravens

9th Round, 53rd Overall- K Robbie Gould

10th Round, 56th Overall- WR Amari Cooper

11th Round, 65th Overall- WR D.J. Chark

12th Round, 68th Overall- WR Terry McLaurin

13th Round, 77th Overall- RB D'Andre Swift

14th Round, 80th Overall- RB Jordan Howard

15th Round, 89th Overall- QB Matt Ryan

Summary:

Last year did not go the way Tailwaggerz had hoped, with a disappointing regular season ending with two playoff defeats. The 2018 Champions will try to bounce back this year, and made a splash by taking rookie Edwards-Helaire in just the 2nd Round, above the likes of Derrick Henry and Austin Ekeler. It's a fairly big gamble to make, but at least they complemented him with two proven veterans in Cook and Chubb, plus Howard as a backup. The receiving corps will, at least to start, rely heavily on veterans, with Beckham looking to comeback from his disappointing debut season in Cleveland and Thielen now the top option in Minnesota. The quarterback duo of Wilson and Ryan seems very solid, as does the team in general. This roster definitely has the feel of a potential title contender to me, but the same could be said of Tailwaggerz last year as well.

Bark Force

1st Round, 6th Overall- WR Michael Thomas

2nd Round, 7th Overall- WR Davante Adams

3rd Round, 18th Overall- TE George Kittle

4th Round, 19th Overall- WR DeAndre Hopkins

5th Round, 30th Overall- RB Chris Carson

6th Round, 31st Overall- RB Melvin Gordon

7th Round, 42nd Overall- QB Kyler Murray

8th Round, 43rd Overall- DEF San Francisco 49ers

9th Round, 54th Overall- K Matt Prater

10th Round, 55th Overall- RB James Conner

11th Round, 66th Overall- WR Courtland Sutton

12th Round, 67th Overall- WR DK Metcalf

13th Round, 78th Overall- RB Kareem Hunt

14th Round, 79th Overall- RB Ronald Jones

15th Round, 90th Overall- TE Austin Hooper

Summary:

Picking last in the 1st Round, Bark Force obviously had a strategy in mind, taking four pass catchers in a row to open the draft, a complete opposing idea to every other team, who focused on running backs early. It's the ultimate test of PPR scoring, and sets up a very intriguing storyline for this year. Other than that their stacked receiving quartet, most of the other positions are lacking, especially at running back, which is by far the weakest group in the league. Kyler Murray does certainly have plenty of potential, but I question the wisdom of not getting him a quality backup, as he's still young and hasn't quite proven himself at the top level just yet. Still, considering the position Bark Force found themselves in, this was a pretty good draft, and their unique drafting strategy will put them in the spotlight immediately to start the year.

That, finally, is that, all six rosters in their complete form, with my thoughts on how each of them will fare. But even though I've been playing fantasy for a while, I still can't predict everything, so who knows if I'm really on track with any of them. I'll be back here September 9th, to preview the Week 1 matchups and let you know of any changes in the week in between. See you soon.
