Week 1 was a major success for the Dog League as a whole, with all six teams scoring well, but it was Leaping Girl who shined the brightest, finding themselves atop the league heading into Week 2. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)
Tug of War
Current Record: (0-1, 6th place)
It was not an ideal start to the year for the former two time champions, who suffered a blowout loss to Tailwaggerz, who were led by Russell Wilson and Adam Thielen. Going into Week 2, Miles Sanders is back, as he sends Cooper Kupp to the bench. They could've also considered starting rookie Jonathan Taylor, but decided that Sanders was the safer option. Even though Kupp is on the bench, he could still find his way back into the starting lineup, as Chris Godwin is working his way through concussion protocol and could be inactive this week. Tug of War also makes a change at quarterback, as starter Deshaun Watson faces a tough Ravens defense, so they brought in Aaron Rodgers to start, dropping Carson Wentz. Their final change was dropping Cam Akers to pickup Jared Cook, who will just be stashed on the bench for now, as they didn't want another team in the league to get him.
UPDATE: With Godwin doubtful, Kupp will start again this week. Additionally, Tug of War have decided to go with Taylor instead of Sanders.
Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Saquon Barkley
RB Joe Mixon
WR Allen Robinson
WR Cooper Kupp
TE Mark Andrews
RB Jonathan Taylor
K Harrison Butker
DEF New Orleans Saints
Rare Woofs
Current Record: (0-1, 5th place)
Though the defending champions did start the year with a loss, they make no changes to their starting lineup, as no one on the bench or available on the waiver wire seemed like a major upgrade. They did bring in a backup quarterback, dropping Tarik Cohen to acquire Drew Brees.
Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)
QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Alvin Kamara
RB Kenyan Drake
WR Tyreek Hill
WR Robert Woods
TE Darren Waller
RB Aaron Jones
K Wil Lutz

Bark Force
Current Record: (0-1, 4th place)
Bark Force is dealing with an injury crisis already, as Michael Thomas is expected to miss some time, James Conner is very iffy and George Kittle is banged up. Thomas is replaces in the lineup by A.J. Green, who was added for Courtland Sutton, while Ronald Jones fills in for Conner. Kittle remains the starter, as Austin Hooper would be a risky start coming off a poor Week 1 and playing early in the week on Thursday night. If Kittle does miss this week's game, Hooper would likely be dropped for Dallas Goedert, who was excellent to start the year.
UPDATE: As expected, the Goedert move has been made with Kittle ruled out.
Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)
QB Kyler Murray
RB Chris Carson
RB Ronald Jones
WR Davante Adams
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Dallas Goedert
WR A.J. Green
K Matt Prater
DEF San Francisco 49ers
Ridiculous Rascals
Current Record: (1-0, 3rd place)
Rascal is making a nifty play at defense this week, adding the Kansas City defense while dropping James White, and starting them over the Patriots'. New England's unit will stay on as the backup, but the Chiefs have a juicy matchup against the Chargers that Rascal wanted to take advantage of. Rascal also dropped Le'Veon Bell to add Malcolm Brown, and T.Y. Hilton for Will Fuller, as both Brown and Fuller could potentially start if Julio Jones can't go this week, though Raheem Mostert would also be a possibility.
Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)
QB Dak Prescott
RB Christian McCaffrey
RB Austin Ekeler
WR Julio Jones
WR Calvin Ridley
TE Zach Ertz
WR D.J. Moore
K Justin Tucker
DEF Kansas City Chiefs
Tailwaggerz
Current Record: (1-0, 2nd place)
Tailwaggerz brings back in Amari Cooper to start, as D.J. Chark couldn't take advantage of his starting opportunity last week. They snagged Nyheim Hines off the waiver wire, dropping Jordan Howard, and considered starting Hines or Terry McLaurin over Nick Chubb this week. Ultimately, it was decided that it was too soon to give up on Chubb, as they will hope for a bounceback game this week.
Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)
QB Russell Wilson
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
WR Adam Thielen
WR Amari Cooper
TE Travis Kelce
RB Nick Chubb
K Robbie Gould
DEF Baltimore Ravens
Leaping Girl
Current Record: (1-0, 1st place)
The year may have started well for Leaping Girl, but trouble is already brewing for Week 2. Tyler Lockett has a tough matchup against the Patriots, so he was pulled from the lineup in favor of Mike Evans, though Evans is still dealing with a hamstring injury and may not be at one hundred percent. To make matters worse, JuJu Smith-Schuster has a knee injury, so both Lockett and Keenan Allen on the bench could be called upon to start this week. Emma did make one change of her own volition, bringing in Hunter Henry to start over Evan Engram, who couldn't get anything going against the Steelers.
Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)
QB Lamar Jackson
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Derrick Henry
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster
WR Mike Evans
TE Hunter Henry
RB Josh Jacobs
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Pittsburgh Steelers
That's it for the Week 2 Preview, I'll see you here again next week, and of course there will be updates to this post if any player needs to be pulled later in the week.
